Linlithgow On the High Street

Made in our own kitchen

The haggis roll and a bowl of our lentil soup are what folk keep coming back for, but there is a lot more than that waiting on the menu. Everything is made in our own kitchen, from the lightest cheese scones to the warm chocolate brownie with custard. Whether you are in for a quiet solo lunch or meeting a crowd on a Saturday morning, you will get the same friendly welcome and a plate of something worth savouring. We are proud to be a small part of the high street, a few steps from the Loch.

“I was recommended The Crannog by the lady in the bookshop (worth a visit). The haggis roll and lentil soup was delicious as was the gluten free homemade shortbread. I savoured that sitting by the Loch ❤️”

Good to know

A few things people often ask before they pop in.

Do you have vegetarian options?
Yes, we always have vegetarian dishes on, from our homemade lentil soup to a proper cheese scone, with plenty of veggie choices across the menu.
Do I need to book, or can I just walk in?
Just come in. We are a walk-in cafe and always happy to find you a table, though Saturdays get busy so there can be a short wait.
Can I get food to take away?
Yes, most of the menu is available for takeaway, so you can grab a haggis roll or a bake to enjoy down by the Loch.
Do you serve breakfast and brunch?
We do. We are open for breakfast, brunch and lunch, with homemade bakes and hot drinks throughout.
Where can I park?
There is parking nearby in Linlithgow town centre, and we are an easy walk from the High Street and the Loch.
